The role in practice.

International growth depends on reliable coordination between people who do not share the same working day or business context. This role helps Kent organise partnerships, delivery priorities and cross-market initiatives so that decisions become clear actions with accountable owners.

You will work across commercial and operational conversations, keeping track of dependencies and bringing unresolved issues to the right people. The role calls for cultural awareness and practical organisation: knowing what must be consistent, what needs local consideration and when specialist advice is necessary.

Where your contribution matters

  • Turn international initiatives into understandable work plans with owners, dependencies and agreed review points.
  • Keep a clear record of partner discussions, decisions and commitments across teams and time zones.
  • Identify where an assumption about resources, delivery or responsibilities could prevent progress.
  • Help teams share useful practices while recognising differences in client needs and operating arrangements.

Illustrative early priorities.

The first-month plan is discussed with your manager and adjusted to the role, team and starting priorities.

01

Map the work and responsibilities

This illustrative first-months plan will be confirmed with your manager. Understand the current relationships, active initiatives and people responsible for commercial and delivery decisions.

02

Strengthen coordination

Agree a practical way to track priorities and prepare concise updates. Make handovers clear and establish how decisions or blocked actions should be escalated.

03

Improve cross-market execution

Review where communication or dependencies repeatedly slow work. Propose proportionate improvements and help teams follow through on the changes they agree.

How the work connects with the team.

  • Market-facing colleagues provide local context and maintain client or partner relationships.
  • Technical, training and operational teams clarify delivery capacity and dependencies.
  • Senior management and relevant advisers make decisions outside the role’s agreed authority.

Prepare for a useful selection conversation.

Explain a complex coordination example

Describe an initiative involving different teams or countries, your responsibilities and how you handled conflicting priorities.

Work through an operational scenario

You may be asked to organise an initiative with unclear ownership, time-zone constraints or a delayed dependency.

Communicate a decision clearly

Show how you summarise a discussion, distinguish a proposal from an agreed commitment and ensure the next action reaches its owner.
