Training
Understand our 14-session online module format: two live hours weekly, practical projects, assessment and Kent Business College certification.
Make professional learning part of a manageable weekly routine. Our training combines live online classes through Kent Business College in the UK with practical work that helps you apply the subject to a project, role or organisation.
Each module includes 14 weekly online sessions of two hours each, giving 28 live teaching hours. A semester is the learning block for that module. It does not mean that every diploma, professional pathway or examination-preparation route is completed in 14 weeks.
The programme page sets out an indicative sequence. The enrolment information confirms the cohort calendar, time zone, module count and any changes needed for a particular group. Allow time between sessions for practice, reading, project development and assessment; the 28 live hours do not describe the total time you may need to study.
The PMP route brings together Stakeholder Management, Communications and Reporting and Project Planning, Scheduling and Integrated Controls. Each submodule has its own 14-session teaching plan, practical outputs and assessment focus. The full route therefore contains 28 live sessions and 56 teaching hours across two semesters.
The first module develops the relationships, communication and reporting that support decisions. The second builds the scope, schedule, cost and performance evidence those decisions need. Reading weeks, optional masterclasses, independent assignments and exam preparation are scheduled separately in the cohort calendar.
Study Strategic Management, Strategic Leadership, Strategic Human Resource Management, Strategic Financial Management, Strategic Marketing and Advanced Business Research Methods, then connect the subjects in the KBC Applied Strategy and Leadership Studio. Each module has 14 weekly two-hour sessions: 98 live sessions and 196 teaching hours in total.
Six subjects contribute to the OTHM diploma; the seventh is KBC enrichment with no additional regulated credits. The live sessions form part of a broader study plan. OTHM specifies 600 guided learning hours and 1,200 total qualification hours for its 120-credit diploma. The studio has its own learning commitment.
The calendar depends on module scheduling. One session per week throughout a consecutive route means 98 teaching weeks before breaks. Overlapping modules increase the weekly commitment. Your written timetable confirms the actual duration, supported learning and assessment schedule.
Review the topic and identify a situation in which the idea might matter. Arrive with a question, an example or a difficulty you want to understand.
Use the two-hour online session for explanation, discussion and guided practice. Connect the topic with its assumptions, limitations and possible applications.
Work on a manageable task between sessions. Keep evidence of your reasoning, what happened and what you would change. Use feedback to improve the next version.
Each module outline includes a practical project or applied assignment. In an AI module, this might be a tested workflow, a retrieval prototype or an evaluation report. In project management, it might be a baseline, benefits plan or governance proposal. In leadership, it may be a strategic analysis and a justified change recommendation.
Assessment should make your decisions visible. Explain the problem, the approach, the evidence and the limitations. Where AI tools are used in learning, distinguish your own analysis from generated material and check the programme’s assessment rules. The published outlines are a starting point; the assessment brief and completion requirements are confirmed for the cohort.
Teaching and classes are delivered through Kent Business College in the UK. The relevant Kent Business College certificate is issued when the agreed completion and assessment requirements are met. Your programme information should make clear what that certificate records.
A KBC course certificate is distinct from a separate PMI, APM, APMG or other professional-body qualification. External awards may require particular experience, additional learning, an application, an examination or other assessment. Where a diploma pathway is named, the exact qualification, awarding arrangements, duration and entry requirements must be confirmed before enrolment.
For Strategic Management and Leadership Level 7, teaching is provided through KBC and the regulated diploma is awarded by OTHM after its assessment and verification requirements are met. The seventh KBC studio is an additional learning module without extra regulated credits.
Ask for a clear breakdown of what is included: teaching, assessment, certification, examination fees, study materials and software or cloud costs. This makes it possible to compare routes fairly and plan the time and budget required.
You do not need the same starting experience for every subject. A broad generative AI module and a technical reinforcement-learning module have different prerequisites. Read the audience and entry guidance, and explain your current experience when you enquire.
Choose a project that is useful and achievable within the module. A small, well-evaluated piece of work can demonstrate more learning than an unfinished ambitious system. For a team cohort, agree how learners can access suitable examples and protect confidential information. Discuss accessibility or learning support needs before the start so the programme team can consider appropriate arrangements.
The format offered through Kent Consultancy is live online teaching through Kent Business College. Each module has 14 weekly two-hour sessions. Any additional activity would need to be specified in your programme information.
The relevant certificate is issued by Kent Business College in the UK after you meet the agreed completion requirements. A separate professional-body award or regulated qualification depends on the specific route and its requirements; it is not automatically created by attending a module.
Not necessarily. Professional bodies set their own education, experience and assessment requirements. For example, a route may require more learning hours than one module provides. Check the current qualification requirements and your written programme information before relying on a module for eligibility.
Yes. Discuss the roles, experience and business application you want to support. The programme team can explore a suitable cohort, module combination and schedule, subject to availability and agreement.
